    Matcha Tea Promoting Healthy Metabolism

Out of the endless variety of teas available, there is only a handful I would recommend drinking. My favourite is Matcha green tea —a powerful adaptogenic herb that also provides significant therapeutic benefits.

Unlike other teas, Matcha tea comes in the form of a powder that you add right into the water. Matcha green tea, in general, is one of the least processed kind of tea, which is why it contains some of the highest amounts of EGCG.

Matcha tea can contain over 100 times the EGCG of regular brewed green tea, and since you’re drinking the whole ground tea leaf, you’re getting the full benefit from every cup of tea you drink.

Green tea is also packed with vitamins A, D, E, C, B, B5, H, and K, manganese, and other beneficial minerals such as zinc, chromium, and selenium.

One tip, if your green tea looks brown rather than the usual green, it’s likely been oxidised, which can damage or destroy many of its most valuable compounds. It is important to keep you Green Match tea in an airtight glass container.

To boost the benefits of green tea, add some lemon juice. Previous research has demonstrated that vitamin C significantly increases the amount of catechins available for your body to absorb. In fact, citrus juice increased available catechin levels by more than five times, causing 80 percent of tea’s catechins to remain bioavailable!

Finally, I would highly recommend that you get a hight quality Organic Match Green Tea. The world is getting toxic. Organic will make all the difference.

Try Our Bondi Beach Tea Co. 100% Organic Pure Green Match Tea.
