A fragrant cup for anyone who loves lemon. Our Organic Lemon Myrtle Leaf Tea has a bold citrus aroma and a bright, fresh flavour. Brew it warm for a quiet tea break, or chill it and pour over ice on a hot afternoon.

Made with just one organic ingredient, this naturally caffeine free herbal tea gets its lemon character entirely from the leaf. A little goes a long way, so start with a light brew and find the strength you enjoy.

    Ingredients

100% organic dried lemon myrtle leaf (Backhousia citriodora).

No added flavourings, colours or preservatives.

    How to brew

Use half to 1 teaspoon of dried leaf per 250 mL of freshly boiled water. Cover and steep for 5 minutes, then strain. Use a little less leaf for a gentler cup or a little more for a stronger lemon flavour.

    Make it your own

Enjoy it plain to appreciate its citrus flavour, or stir in a little honey if you prefer a sweeter cup. For iced tea, brew with hot water, strain, cool promptly and refrigerate before serving over ice.

Lemon myrtle also works well in your own blends. Try a small pinch with ginger for a warming cup, peppermint for a fresh herbal flavour, or rooibos for a softer, rounded base.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is lemon myrtle?

Lemon myrtle, Backhousia citriodora, is an Australian native plant known for its strongly lemon-scented leaves. The dried leaf makes an aromatic herbal infusion.

Does lemon myrtle tea contain caffeine?

No. Our pure organic lemon myrtle leaf tea is naturally caffeine free.

Is lemon myrtle the same as lemongrass?

They are different plants. Lemon myrtle is the leaf of a native Australian shrub or tree, while lemongrass is a grass. Both bring citrus notes to tea, with their own distinctive flavours.

    How should I store it?

Keep the pouch sealed in a cool, dry place away from sunlight, moisture and strong odours. Use a dry spoon and follow the best before date on your pack.
