  • Private Label Tea Manufacturer in Australia, Supplying Worldwide

    PRIVATE LABEL TEA

Put your name on a tea range you can be proud to sell.

Private label tea gives you a practical way to launch or expand a tea range without setting up a blending room, buying packing equipment or committing to very large quantities from the beginning.

Bondi Beach Tea Co. is based in Sydney. We work with new and established brands in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and other markets. You choose from our established organic blends, then we help you work through the tea format, pack size, packaging, labels and production.

Private label and custom blending are not the same thing

Private label means choosing one of our established blends and selling it under your brand. It is usually the faster and more economical starting point.

Custom blending means developing a proprietary formula from a new brief. That requires formulation work, samples and refinement, and is managed as a separate development project.

    A sensible starting quantity

You should be able to test your market without filling a warehouse. Our minimums are designed to give smaller brands a realistic starting point while still allowing us to blend, pack and document each production run properly.

    42 pouches

Minimum per blend for finished private label loose-leaf tea.

    100 packs

Minimum per blend for finished private label pyramid tea bags.

    Sydney made

Blended and packed in Australia, with international supply available.

Minimums can change for custom-printed packaging, special components or unusually complex projects. We confirm the applicable minimum before you commit.

Choose the format that suits your customer

    Loose leaf

Loose leaf gives you flexibility with fill weights and works well for online stores, wellness brands, cafés and specialist retailers. It is also the easiest format for a small proof-of-concept range.

    Pyramid tea bags

Our pyramid bags use Soilon, a plant-based material rather than nylon mesh. They suit many full-leaf and herbal blends, although powders, sticky ingredients and very large pieces need to be assessed before production.

    Bulk supply

If you prefer to pack the tea yourself, selected blends can also be supplied in bulk. The pack size and minimum depend on the blend and destination.

How a private label project moves from idea to production

    1. Tell us what you are building. We need to know your market, preferred tea format, pack size, expected quantity, target price and launch timing.
    2. Select and taste the blends. Samples help you judge flavour, appearance and suitability before choosing your range.
    3. Choose the packaging. You can start with a stock pouch and printed label, provide suitable food-grade packaging, or discuss custom-printed packaging for a larger run.
    4. Prepare the label information. The blend name, ingredients, net weight, directions, warnings and responsible business details need to suit the country where the product will be sold.
    5. Approve the final specification. We confirm the blend, format, quantity, packaging, artwork, pricing and production timing before manufacture begins.

Packaging should match the stage of your business

For a first run, a good-quality stock pouch with a professionally printed label usually makes commercial sense. It keeps the initial commitment manageable and lets you test which blends and pack sizes customers actually buy.

Once the range has proven demand, custom-printed pouches or boxes can lower the unit cost and create a more tailored finish. They also involve higher minimums, longer lead times and more money tied up in packaging. We will tell you plainly when a simpler option is the better option.

    Organic ingredients with supporting documentation

Every herb used in our tea blends is 100% organic. We maintain supplier certificates, Certificates of Analysis and batch records to support our organic claims. Relevant documentation can be provided for your selected blends.

Every private label project is different. Once we understand where and how you plan to sell, we can work through any additional retailer, marketplace or destination-country requirements with you before the packaging is finalised.

    Australian production with international experience

We regularly work with tea businesses outside Australia. International projects need a little more planning because labelling, customs descriptions, freight, importer requirements and fulfilment arrangements vary by country.

Our Sydney facility is registered with the US FDA. Registration is not product approval and does not replace the responsibilities of the brand owner or importer. It provides an established Australian production base for suitable US projects.

For customers in the United States, United Kingdom and other markets, we confirm what we can supply and which documents are available before the production order is placed.

    What determines the finished price?

There is no honest single unit price for private label tea. Two pouches that look similar can have very different costs once the ingredients, fill weight and packaging are considered.

A useful quotation needs six things:

    • the selected blend
    • the finished weight or number of tea bags
    • the quantity per blend
    • the pouch, jar, box or other packaging
    • the label or print requirements
    • the delivery country or fulfilment destination

Once these details are clear, we can give you pricing that is useful rather than a low headline figure that changes later.

Questions people usually ask before getting started

Are private label blends exclusive to my brand?

No. Private label uses our established blends, which may also be supplied to other customers. If you need an original formula developed for your brand, that is a custom blending project.

Who owns my branding and artwork?

Your brand name and approved artwork remain yours. The underlying established tea formula remains part of our private label range unless a separate written custom-development arrangement says otherwise.

Can I supply my own pouches, jars or boxes?

Usually, yes, provided the packaging is food grade, suitable for the product and workable with our packing process. We need to check dimensions, closure, label area and practical handling before confirming production.

    Can you help with labels?

Yes. We can help with label sizing, layout and practical food-labelling requirements. Final legal responsibility rests with the brand owner, particularly when products will be sold outside Australia.

Can I sample the tea before ordering?

Yes. Sampling is strongly recommended. It helps you narrow the range and avoids choosing products from a description alone.

    How long does production take?

The timing depends on ingredient availability, quantity, packaging and artwork approval. A stock pouch and label project is generally faster than custom-printed packaging. We confirm a realistic schedule before you pay for production.

    Can you ship internationally?

Yes, where the product and destination requirements allow it. Freight, customs, duties and importer obligations are assessed for the individual project.

Tell us what you are planning

Include your country, preferred tea format, approximate quantity, pack size, packaging idea and intended launch timing. If you are still deciding, that is fine. We can help you identify the decisions that need to come first.
