    5 Ways to Detox Correctly

    1. Just stop it completely 

    The only true way to stop a real physiological addiction except to stop it altogether. Addicts can’t have just one cigarette or just one drink. Go cold turkey. When you detox correctly, you will automatically reset your body’s neurotransmitters and hormones.

    Stop all forms of sugar, all flour products, and all artificial sweeteners. They may cause increased cravings and slow metabolism, and lead to fat storage. This primarily includes liquid sugar calories, which make you eat more all day and drive storage of belly fat. Also get rid of anything with trans or hydrogenated fats. Ideally, for ten days you need to avoid any foods that come in a box, package, can or have a label. Stick to wholefoods that are fresh and preferably organic. The best way to actually detox is to give up all grains, sugar and any recreational drugs for ten days. Drink herbal tea blend designed to help assist with the process.

    2. Start your day with protein

Along with protein, you can have healthy fats at every meal and snack including nuts and seeds, extra virgin olive oil, coconut butter, avocados, and omega-3 fats from fish.

    5. Detox with a friend

    The latest research shows that obesity may be contagious. You are more likely to be overweight if your friend's parents or siblings are overweight.
