OK, we all want to look our best. I just hate chemicals. Every face mask I get has some chemicals in it.
I have now decided to make my own, made with ingredients like fruits, yoghurt, and eggs.
Our all natural masks are packed with nutrients that are just as good for your skin as they are for your body! Here are a few of my favourite to make your complexion glow.
MOISTURIZING AVOCADO FACE MASK
1/2 Ripe Avocado 1 Egg White – room temperature 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Mix all the ingredients together. Use the whisk to whip to avoid clumps. Scoop one tablespoon at a time and apply evenly on clean face, avoiding the eyes.
Let it dry for about 30 minutes. Rinse your face thoroughly with warm water.
CAUTION – with ANY scrubs or masks, test it in a small area first to make sure you are not sensitive to it. If your skin turns red, rinse the area with mild soap with lukewarm water.*
YOGURT AND GREEN CLAY MASK
¼ cup Greek Yoghurt
1 Tsp Green Clay Powder
1 Tsp Honey
In a bowl, mix the Greek yoghurt, green clay face mask powder, and honey together till smooth. I find a spoon works well. Then just apply to your face. I carefully put some under my eyes, because the cooling effect feels so good after a night without enough sleep. Let sit for 15 minutes, until the mask sets, then rinse with warm water.
A note about the yoghurt: I use organic full-fat Greek yoghurt because it’s so thick and smooth to spread. This mask recipe easily makes enough for two people, so grab a friend and enjoy!
absolutely love this new addition to my cutlery drawer.. so very useful and handy.. also helps me from making other beverages that need tio include milk sugar etc... my tea's need nothing else just infusion in my tea strainer and thats it ready to drink.
